National Grid: Power collapses in Lagos, Kaduna and Other States in Nigeria

Nigeria electricity national grids have collapsed throwing some parts of the country into darkness.
Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) says the country experience total system disruption which causes voltage collapse in some parts of the grid at 11:01am on Wednesday.
Three electricity distribution companies: Ikeja electric, Kaduna electric and Eko electric confirmed the experience of power outage.
TCN says they have immediately begin grid recovery around 11:29am and now, power starts to return gradually return to other parts of the country.
In an interview with newsmen, Ikeja electricity confirmed that they had power outage around 11am but light was restored at exactly 12:41pm.
As it is, Ikeja electric has light to distribute to their customers.
At Twitter, Kaduna electricity post this message, “Dear Esteemed Customers, We regret to inform you that the power outage currently being experienced across our franchise- Kaduna, Sokoto, Kebbi and Zamfara states- is as a result of the collapse of the national grid. @GovKaduna @KBStGovt @Zamfara_state.”
Kaduna distribution company promise to give their customers as soon as the Transmission Company restores the light to the grid.
