Sunburn occurs when your skin is left exposed for a long time, the exposed area turns dark. If left for a while the part of the skin gets very irritated and other skin conditions may arise from there.

The harsh ultraviolet radiation coming off from the sun allows the skin to get exposed, other than sunburn other skin conditions too could arise from the harsh radiation from the skin.

Conditions such as acne, skin blemishes, skin cancer, sun burn, melanoma and the rest. Sun burn is very common mostly among the fair and light skin tones than the darker skin tones.

In other to avoid this wearing of sunscreen is needed and essential as it offers greater protection to the skin.

If possible avoid going out especially when the sun is very high. As you are most likely to get a sun burn easily. When ever the sun is really intense it causes your skin to get affected by the excess radiation coming from the sun. This could damage a lot of skin cells and tissues in your skin.

In any instance when you must go out under the sun be sure to go out with an umbrella as it will provide shade and reduce the effects of the sun.

Wear sunglasses and and sun screens on your skin before stepping out. This is a very interesting step to take. As this will help offer a greater amount of protection against the excess sun radiation.

Always ensure you wear clothes that will cover out most of your exposed skin to the sun. This helps in offering a layer or protection to your skin too.

Natural Remedies that can help with sun burns

Aloevera gel

Aloevera gel can be applied to the affected part or area on the skin. The process should be repeated continuously until the sun burn patch clears off after a while.

Tea bags

Your used tea bags did not have to be discarded anymore. Put ur tea bag into the refrigerator for few minutes and use it in massaging the affected area.

Oat meal and baking powder

Add about 1 teaspoon of baking soda to a cup of oat meal and add a half cup of water. Mix and apply to the affected area and leave for 30 mins. This will give room for your skin to absorb the nutrients in it. Repeat the process until you notice a difference.
